Hold Yourself Accountable

I CHOOSE TO take responsibility for my life.

I choose to hold myself accountable for my thoughts, words, and actions, particularly for my mistakes and any problems I create, and to make things right.

Personal accountability is a choice and a commitment that matters to me.

I can practice accountability or ignore what I do — even hide and blame others.

The choice for accountability leads me right into integrity or out of integrity.

> Will I own up and put myself on the hook or not?

> How will I respect myself — for fixing a mistake or for avoiding and ignoring it?

I’m in control of my life. We each are.

I’m practicing change by creating better work, aiming for good outcomes, solutions, results. Things might work or not. There is no guarantee, and if I fail, I’ll hold myself accountable.

My choices are vital because it’s my integrity — my honor — my good name — my self-opinion, self-worth that I live with all the time, and — the effect my choices will have on other people.

Thanks — Michael (he, him)
