Hold On or Release for the Right Reason
AS WE GROW (just like a vine), we often need things to hold onto for support — family — friends — knowledge — ideas — work — location+++
It’s OK to need help and to wrap yourself around whatever it takes to prosper. Some attachments give you strength and happiness, enabling you to bloom.
And in the other direction — we can also get trapped — holding onto things we don’t need — grasping and clinging to them too tightly, stopping us from making better choices.
Sometimes we need to let go to be free, and that takes courage to make those decisions to release your firm hold to make the changes and results you dream about and want.
You may have sunk a lot of time, effort and money into your project that you should rethink, or even quit.
– Staying in a mediocre job because you lack confidence in your skills and self.
– Paying fees for domain names you think you’re protecting and don’t use.
– Hoarding items because you think one day you’ll need them.
– Sticking with negative, selfish people you don’t like or respect.
Change takes awareness, self-criticism, motivation, and bravery
to decide this:
Thank you, I need this. It’s worth my effort and love.
No thank you. I don’t want this.
You have the choice to hold onto whatever you want but don’t get trapped in a dead-end and sell your self out.
