Gratitude is Organic

WHY IS IT people express their gratitude at ceremonies like the Academy Awards — thanking many people for being honored instead of complaining or praising themselves and saying how great they are and how much they deserve the award?

The powerful emotion of gratitude arises naturally from your depths as your work is acknowledged — for skills, solutions, results, helping other people, giving back in some way, making a difference.

> How much is gratitude an organic part of your essential inner nature?

> How big is the desire to express appreciation and thanks?

> What happens to you physically and emotionally when you express gratitude?

Usually, you feel fantastic! Alive. True to yourself. Proud. Wildly happy.

Recognition, physical awards and gratitude are important. They are one and nearly inseparable. Something true for all time.

For me, gratitude is the big win.

Gratitude — What an attitude, what a habit, what a choice to make and experience.

Please take 3 minutes and watch the gratitude pour out of actor Viola Davis as she wins an Oscar in 2017 for Best Supporting Actress in the movie — Fences.

Thanks — Michael (he, him)
